Princess – No.1 Piano Concerto in A major

First Movement – For Rhyme’s Nini

Second Movement – For Cystal Presented By JSChase

Third Movement – For Fenicia’s Astrallia

1st Movement – For Nini

Background

After 3 months’ intensive composition, the raffle prize for AtelierRhyme’s Nini is finally done!

This is the first piano concerto for Sylveon SHI. The length of the work is also a record for Sylveon Shi: 19 minutes.

The piece starts with dream-like woolwind instruments, and features sad fugue in the middle, and grand tutti in the final. It describes Nini’s sad childhood, but it also describes Nini’s vigorosity, happiness, and tenacity during her journey.

Trivia:

This… piece… is… inspired… … … by my first love in middle school…. (flushed)

Influence

From Rhyme:

Finished listening. It’s really graceful and elegant. Totally fit for the palace gardens

And read it. Thank you so much for considering Nini’s backstory and personality too! She’ll give you and Sylven a nice kiss on the cheek

I heard the trivia in Nara. So cute

2nd Movement – For Crystal

Background

This piece is composed when the composer felt peace in his heart. During that time, the only sound that accompanied the composer is sound of the wind during the night. This is why the piece is started with gentle sound of horn and clarinets that ensemble wind.

This piece described a dream of a princess, or the growth of a princess. From the gentle sound in the start to the grand tutti at the end, it told a story of princess becoming stronger and stronger.

  1. I found myself deeply moved by this piece. It’s rare to come across writing that doesn’t just inform but transforms. You’ve taken complex ideas and made them feel not just understandable but important. Reading this, I felt both challenged and comforted — a true testament to the power of your words.
