The piece reflected on composer’s endeavor on studying abroad and getting adapted to the U.S. society. The piece expressed composer’s optimism towards future and belief that victory would come after endeavor.
The piece begun with a peacefui performance of woodwind instruments as if the composer was dreaming under starly sky. The music became louder and louder as if the composer saw something bright in his dream. The inharmonious part in the middle was as if the composer was facing some difficulties. The final part of the piece was inspired by the Beethoven’s No.3 Symphony’s 1st Movement. That part depicted a scene of waking up from dream when the light in the dream became brighter and brighter.
